Directions & Dosage for Use

Recommended Dosage:

• Small Animals (dogs, cats, rabbits, etc.): 3–5 pilules per dose
• Large Animals (horses, livestock): 8–10 pilules per dose

Administer once or twice daily, depending on the severity of symptoms. In acute conditions a dose can be given every 3 hours, reducing the frequency of dosing with as improvement sets in. Because homeopathic remedies are non-toxic and cannot cause overdose, it’s generally better to start with more frequent dosing rather than too little. Once positive changes are observed, taper the dosage accordingly.

How to Administer:

For optimal results, pilules should be absorbed through the mucous membranes of the mouth:

• Dogs: Gently pull back the cheek (labial pouch) and place pilules inside.
• Cats: Tilt the head slightly back to help open the mouth, then place the pilules onto the lip or gums.
• If direct oral dosing is not possible: Crush pilules between two plastic spoons. Mix with a small amount of water. Administer using a syringe or gently pour into the mouth for rapid absorption through the buccal lining.
• Alternative Methods: Mix with a small treat: cats may accept pilules more readily when blended with yoghurt or milk. Dogs and horses often enjoy the taste of the sugar-based pellets. Pilules can also be dissolved in drinking water (preferably in a plastic bowl). As a last resort, mix with food or feed.
